Snailholt is a traditional17th century farmhouse, a former fulling mill nestling in the valley of the Washford river. Approached by a private track which runs alongside St Decuman's Church and past the famous Holy Well renowned in the past for its miraculous cures. The ghost of a white lady is reputed to walk this country lane.but has yet to be seen by guests!
You will be accommodated in large double or twin rooms with en-suite available, all with tea making facilities You have your own entrance to come and go as you please. Access to the old walled gardens provides covered seating and tranquillity. A substantial breakfast using our own free-range eggs and local produce is included. We are ideally situated for your enjoyment of this beautiful area and the famous West Somerset Steam Railway runs within sight of Snailholt :
